The American TOS Association's CEO Confirms Heartwarming Fundraising Partnership with Northern California's Granny Ruth's Fudge

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome patient and owner of Granny Ruth's Fudge, Jennifer Noska, has generously offered 30% of fundraising sales in an ongoing effort to help fund Thoracic Outlet Syndrome awareness, medical education, advocacy and research.

Arnold, California/November 14, 2007- The heartwarming partnership of ATOSA and Granny Ruth's Fudge began in the Association's TOS community forum where Jennifer Noska stated in her bio that her family owned a fudge company in Northern California.  The CEO of ATOSA contacted Mrs. Noska about the possibility of creating a fundraising partnership. Mrs. Noska's family business, Granny Ruth's Fudge, quickly came on board by offering a very generous 50% of total fundraising revenue placed through their website located online at www.grannyruthsfudge.com.

Granny & Pa Ruth are chocolatiers at heart and with their joined love for chocolate; they created a family owned and operated business.  Through word of mouth, a lovely gift from their loyal customers, Granny Ruth's Fudge has to grown into a very successful small production kitchen/store front located in Arnold, California. Granny of Granny Ruth's Fudge states, "We are so proud of our daughter, Jennifer Noska, and all that she has done for our family business.  She has taken our product line from three items to well over 30 plus items, placed our product into specialty stores in the Arnold area, and launched our fundraiser programs."

Granny and Pa's daughter, Jennifer Noska, who was diagnosed with (TOS) Thoracic Outlet Syndrome  in 1999 states, "This extremely painful condition is very frustrating because you find yourself in immense pain meanwhile lost in the shuffle of doctors and therapist who just don't know enough about TOS.  Now I'm very thankful to have such great doctors and therapists but it shouldn't have to be this hard for others." Mrs. Noska has undergone two Scalenectomy surgeries by Dr. Messina of UCSF and will soon have two additional Pectoralis Minor Tenotomy surgeries by UCSF's Dr. Darren Schneider. These surgeries will be followed by TOS appropriate physical therapy overseen by Dr. Peter Edgelow, DPT, of Physiotherapy Associates in Hayward, California.

"This is such a heartwarming endeavor because it comes from an actual TOS patient, someone who knows, first hand, what it is like to suffer from this terribly painful condition. I consider myself very lucky to have formed this bond and I look forward to working with Mrs. Noska as we continue to bring Thoracic Outlet Syndrome to the forefront of modern medicine." says Gail Sault, the Association's Founder and CEO.

The American Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) Association is the nation's leading 501(c)(3) charitable organization fully dedicated to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome public awareness, medical education, patient advocacy and TOS appropriate clinical research.

Our Community Member Jenerae and Mom on CBS discussing their great fudge company, Granny Ruth's Fudge. I've had this fudge and it is great. Seriously, it doesn't leave that heavy sugar after taste that so many chocolates leave. I've never tasted a fudge this good. My favorite is the Peanut Butter.

It's nice to see forum members outside of TOS struggles with such a positive story.

Congratulations Jen and Mom! Sorry I didn't post this a while ago.

Jen I hope you are feeling well after your recent surgery.
